The Rejected Stone

The Rejected Stone

Concerning the Serpent in Paradise, it seems no matter what faith a person is, when they think or read the story of Adam and Eve they can only see useless carnal knowledge. That is, being read without the spirit. Someone with curiosity should look at this Serpent a second time, that he might appear without sin. Now we know the world isn’t flat, we know the earth goes around the sun, and we know that everything God made is good. Infact he said,            ” behold”  very good. We know he made made the Serpent, but they just can’t get by the word “subtil “, which describes him. We know this beast is “more subtil” than any other beast of the field. That is his description as God made him. He hasn’t done anything yet, and no dialect has begun between Eve and himself. He is just who he is,    “more subtil” than any other very good beast. Howbeit? after reading further his conversation with Eve, they slammed a verdict down and destroyed everything God said about him. They turned back to the word “subtil” and called him such names as crafty, sly, cunning. Sure, subtil contains these meanings. But then that would mean he was more crafty, sly, and cunning than any other beast of the field. It was an unfair and an unreasonable thing to do. Since that time til now he is taught to our children that he is the devil, best known as SATAN. And we have blinders on and won’t look at him any other way. There is no trial for him, no appeal, because our religeous fathers were asleep at that time. There still asleep! Now their imaginations has put together a scheme as to why and how SATAN can wander around God’S beautiful garden of eden. A familiar parable comes to mind here, said by Jesus. Matt. 12:9 “Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he can spoil his house ” ” Can the devil bind God? ” Now of course, there are more pleasant meanings to the word “subtil” we choose not to use to describe the serpent. SUBTIL—- Having fine mental distinctions, ingeniously contrived, characterized by acuteness or delicacy of intellect;discerning; refine. Had they considerd these qualifacations to the serpent they would not have crucified him. John 19:41 “Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid” This is how ignorant bible books are, even in children bible books. Gen. is read like this, ” and the snake hissed at the woman” Do you think God intended his scripture to be read like that? Many of thier ideas maintain that satan used the serpent to deceive Eve.WOW! Thats sick, and their content with that idea. It pulls together their falible theories they contrived for themselves. This whole thing mocks God. At least a God who maintains powerful wisdom. Lets put this hypothesis in our pipes and smoke a bit. They can say that satan used the serpent to speak his mind and screwed up God’s paradise. Lets say, going way out on a limb now, lets say God used the serpent to speak to Adam and Eve. Why is this inconcievable? Could it be that man and church failed together to understand the garden? At least scripture hints to this. What could be better than holy scripture talking about holy scripture? Job 33:14 and 15 “For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not” ” In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men” Howbeit, the serpent spoke once yea twice. Where? In the garden of Eden. “and God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept” It was never said he woke up. It’s important to remember the serpent said “yea” in his conversation. Cause in 2 corinth 1:19 it says ” For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea ” The Jesus we hear about and preached about everyday, the same Jesus written in red ink, his conversation is yea and nay. Infact that same Jesus said this, Luke 12:21 “Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, NAY; but rather divisions ” The implications provided by scripture seem to direct us back to the garden of eden. What are we hearing here? Acts 5:30 ” The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree ” Gal. 3:13 ” Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree ” Who do we know amongst the trees of the garden that was cursed? All of us like sheep are led by our beliefs into a dark labyrinth all the while praising his holy name in vain. Even today there is no truth, we just “believe” Rom. 131:11 “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we “believed.” Joel 2:3 ” the land is as the garden of Eden before them ” We know the fear of lord is the beginning of knowledge. And finally, waiting for him, this is said, Amos 5:18,19,20 ” Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of The LORD is darkness, and not light” ” As if a man did flee from a lion.and a bear met him; or went into a house, and leaned his hand on a the wall, and a serpent bit him ” ” Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it? What would be the difference then to look for the so called rapture, fight between good and evil, then facing one word “subtil” used to describe the serpent? Whether he be good, or evil? Isaiah 46:9 and 10 ” Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else: I am God, and there is none like me ” ” Declaring the end from the beginning ” (  AND WE GOT TO GET OURSELVES BACK TO THE GARDEN  )
